Our client is a leading private equity firm focused on the software and technology-enabled services with over $20B assets under management.

Fundraising Support:

  • Assist in the development of marketing and investor due diligence materials, including private placement memoranda (PPMs), pitchbooks and the firm’s standard due diligence questionnaires (DDQs)
  • Create and maintain fund-related due diligence dataroom(s)
  • Develop and manage an inventory of DDQ responses that may be leveraged to provide standardized responses to common investor diligence questions
  • Coordinate and complete prospective investors’ custom information forms and/or DDQs
  • Assist in the development of investor communications, taking into account various stakeholders and requirements
  • Ensure responses to prospective investors’ diligence questions are correct and completed in a timely manner

Recurring Communications:

  • Prepare response to periodic investor diligence questionnaires in coordination with internal teams, primarily finance, legal and compliance, and information technology
  • Maintain database of frequently asked questions and standard responses to investor inquiries
  • Maintain and update the “Intro to the Firm” and quarterly “Investor Update” presentations, and implement a streamlined/standardized process for the production and organization of support for such materials
  • Assist in the creation and revision of Annual Meeting and Advisory Committee materials, and implement a streamlined/standardized process for the production and organization of support
    for such materials Special projects as assigned


  • 5-7 years of relevant experience, with at least two years in a similar investor communications role at a manager of private investment funds (equity, credit, real estate, or other alternative investment assets), financial services firm, or at a placement agent whose clients include private fund managers
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work across departmental functions to obtain and synthesize information from investment, legal and compliance, and finance and accounting teams
  • Demonstrates the ability to transform complex and sometimes divergent information into coherent and effective written and oral communications
  • Detail oriented
  • Adaptable and possesses strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Self-starter with ability to perform well with limited supervision
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and desire to understand the firm and its investors
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze data and facts
