Our client, a Private Equity firm in New York, is seeking a Human Resources Junior Generalist to join the Human Resources Department. This person will ideally have at least 2 years of HR experience in the financial sector. Candidate must be highly organized and a self-starter. This is a true apprenticeship position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as point of contact for incoming HR related inquiries
  • Providing the Head of the HR and two senior Generalists with HR support
  • Assists with all applicable processes and procedures related to new hire orientations including review of company┬ápolicies, health and wellness programs and completion of required forms
  • Facilitating the employee offboarding process, including scheduling exit interviews, ensuring outbound employees have necessary paperwork, and liaising with support departments
  • Assist with special HR projects and perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree and strong academic record is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail is critical

Compensation: DOE plus generous bonus and benefits
